    [Misc] Repetitive Defects Guage (Konica/Olivetti)

    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has such a thing for the Konica/Olivetti colour machines. Namely the Bizhub C224/284/364/454/554 (or Olivetti equivalent).

Its the repetitive defects gauge which helps you determine which item may giving you a problem. Kyocera seem to have such a thing, but i cant find anything similar in the Konica manuals.

    Kyocera sample below.

Do they not have such a thing? Or am I blind!?

    Thanks

Not sure about that but, Konica has a Troubleshooting guide that's written out a lot better IMO. Go to chapter 15 in the c284 series service manual, under K. Troubleshooting.

      I know a few ...

      95.7mm: drum
      111.5mm: fuser
      ~1016mm: primary transfer

      =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks CompyTech, the Konica troubleshooting section is extremely detailed! But sometimes the simplest of ideas are the most useful.

Blackcat, super stuff, thank you, ill make a note of those!
