I have a Develop Ineo 6000 (which is the same as KM C6000) equipped with Fiery IC-413 as controller. A week ago, I re-installed the fiery system software v.1.0 (due to the fact that could no more connect to it through CWS 5.3, while its led displayed 00 and it was recognized by the copier).I realized the re-installation using the USB prep tool utility, and now the controller led displays again 00, but the copier does not recognize it - saying: "the controller is not connected."I will be grateful if you can advise me on how to fix this issue. There is a patch for this controller that must be installed. This patch enables the machine to see the controller.

Thank you tech51 for your prompt answer. Would you tell me please what the patch in question is, and where I could find and download it.
N.B. Among the discs that accompany the printer, there is one entitled "Feature Activation Software v.1.0 for Fiery E100 Servers", which could be of some help, but I do not know how to use it. Do you have any idea?

If you're fiery is registered you should look on the Fiery site. I'm a KM tech so have company access to the correct files. I would suggest though that if you don't know how to patch a Fiery you would be better off calling someone who does. You can can seriously mess up a Fiery if you don't patch it correctly(don't ask me how I know).

Hello tech51,
I have contacted the service technician (of the KM representative: I have a service contract with them). He told me I had to re-install the system software again; and when I did, and reboot the controller, thye led displayed AA, and after a while it displayed 00, then 02 and finally 03, and stopped at 03 for a long while. When I asked the technician for the situation, he told me that I should be patient.
In fact, I waited for for more one hour yesterday, and more than 2 hours today, and I am still waiting; the disply is the same:03.
Do you have any advise.

hello, the correct procedure is in the technical manual of IC-413, and only after you have installed the patch that I am attaching as pdf
to install the SW on IC-413 I use about 3 hours

Thank you Rolls.Bo for your answer; would you advise me please where I can download this patch and how to install it on the controller knowing that I do not have the Fiery IC-413 service guide.
One more thing, I have lost the connection between my server and the controller, so if I could have the patch, how could I install it from my server?

Hey boss ,sorry i know this is an old subject but don't mind me asking again ,whats the name of that patch for the fiery IC-413 to be connected onto the c6000.

i will be glade to hear from you as i have spent already 3 sleepless nights searching and the thing i get is (EFI WebUpdater) doesn't seem to solve my problem.
