Re: Biz Hub 552
What jam codes? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Biz Hub 552
The 3 I's of proper troubleshooting; IDENTIFY, ISOLATE, INITIATE (the repair). Have them try swapping the '8x11' into one of the non-working trays to see if the jamming stops in EACH TRAY. Did they confirm that the display shows the correct size loaded into each tray? Conversely , you could try the long paper in the working 'short paper' tray and see if it jams from there. ERROR codes tell you where it actually jammed, not where the customer thinks it's jamming.Comment

Re: Biz Hub 552
You may also want to tell that other tech to clean the rollers in the finisher. I just ran into a problem with jams in the finisher because the
rollers in the bridge unit were so dirty that they could not grip the paper. This caused the prints to be very wavy and would not stack
or sometimes not even make it to the output. This unit also has a tick tick sound from the exit of the fuser or the duplex drive. I can see
a shaft with a gear that drives the duplex has some wobble in it and causes it to skip teeth in the gears. This slow down of the lead edge
is causing the trail edge to wave a little. It seems to work ok but I still have to dig into the back to find out which shaft or bushings
will need to be replaced.
