[Misc] Bizhub C451/550/650 Main Drive Unit Gears

Dear all ,

recently I've had 4th times the Gears (A00J 2282 00 Gear 25/25T / A00J 2281 00 Gear 55T) replaced on different machines , I've heard that there have been a Modification on these. Does anyone have the Service Bulletin describing this modification ? or could advise me what would be the new part # for these gears.

must be the sand, we have fleet of these units with million+ copies on them, haven't seen any need these gears.

It's a very likely possibility these machines operates on a dusty enviroment , looking at it , the grease is very dry (see picture) I'll remove form all machines clean and re-grease them. But I've been told that these gears were modified and replaced by a new model.

That looks like the transfer belt cleaning brush drive gears, and yes they were modified.

You may wish to change the subject as it has nothing to do with the main drive unit

I'm glad you found it, I spent an hour looking for it.

The last time I did it was about 3 years ago, rarely ever see these machines now. Even our 652 series are all being replaced by 4 series etc.

I actually have a machine that needs those same parts so I just happened to download it a couple of days ago.
