You can disable Sleep Mode from SM until FW upgrade.
I recently did that on a 224e Bw with same issue.
Thanks. This is a good Idea. We have some customers stating machines are not coming up from sleep properly. Naturally we cannot produce this issue. Newer firmware supposedly was supposed to fix this but, has not apparently..
there's a bulletin...go to "admin settings", "system settings", "power save settings", set "enter power save mode" to "NORMAL", then go to 2/2 and change "power consumption in sleep mode" to "DISABLED"....
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...
All new "4e" models come with the weekly timer setting enabled. This can be a pain in the ass when people are trying to use the machine during off hours. I'd make sure that the weekly timer is disabled.
Everyone has the right to be stupid. Some people just abuse this privelage more than others
Had a similar problem with the overcomplicated energy/power saving system. The customers machine would not wake up when a print job was sent to it. I switched -Power consumption in sleep mode to disable. This ensures that the machine wakes up on receiving data. Also the sensitivity of the touch screen can be adjusted if the problem is a non responsive screen.
