has anyone seen this issue

tray 1 is set to custom paper size, i can alter for individual job to say A4 paper feeds fine, but once the machine resets back to default it goes back to the custom size with set values, no matter what the size guides are set to in the tray

I have swapped over the VR pots from tray2 and fault stays in tray 1 so the Pots are fine also tested in i/o mode i get the same values from either tray MAX/MIn etc.

Also i have tried to run tray adjust in service mode, still same issue.


Is this down to a machine setting?

What size papers did you use to do the size adjustment? After doing the adjustment 4 times and having it fail 4 times, I realized that I wasn't using the correct paper sizes. They are not standard sizes by any stretch. I used the scale on the copyboard to measure out some oversized paper to the prescribed sizes:

select (1): 250mm main scan x 139.7mm sub scan
select (2): 297mm main scan x 457.2mm sub scan
