[Misc] Mail Merge and 554e and lower models

We have a customer printing from an application called Odyssey, sends print jobs as Microsoft word mail merge documents, usually 150+ pages, but there are jobs of only 11-15 pages. The smaller jobs print fine, the 100+ page jobs spool, start to print and at around 30 pages, the MFP hangs with the data light (Blue and white bar) flashing. Control Panel is unresponsive and the only way to proceed is to cycle power. Send the same job to a 754e and print job completes with no issue. I've tried various driver settings and changes (spool settings, PCL, PS, XPS, even the 754 driver as a test, same issue. Print queue shows the entire job is spooled. Going back out with K5 firmware as there is a blurb about "printing stops" but no real detail. Any ideas? Emujo

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
