C6000L wouldn't switch on at customer one morning. Red led light comes on on main switch activation. When sub switch activated power led goes green, main screen comes on for half a second (but not the back light) plus fan on hdd unit goes on for half a second. Printer controller fans speed up, but nothing else happens. Have changed DCPS 1 and 2 plus OACB, with no luck. Tried original DCPS1 on another machine and it killed that. Any ideas anyone????

Are you able to get into service mode by holding down the utility/counter button after turning sub sw on? -

No. Tried firmware stick in, recover stick, and holding utility/counter. Everything dies after half a second except the power led which stays green. if I leave the main switch on, but switch the sub switch off and on, the led goes red after a while and stays there.Comment

Could be a bad LCD panel. Try swapping it with a known good one and see what happens. Also try disconnecting all the options: Print controller, finishers, HDD and see if the machine comes up properly. Beyond that, I'm wondering if you have either bad memory or NVRAM.Comment
