    Kyocera 300ci Magenta spots.

Magenta spots, removed drums, developers, belt, cleaned contacts, inside machine, same problem. Developers have 6K on them, drums 20K. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think you knew the above response was coming. Why, your response was a bit [ don't want to use those words ] ok, selfish. after all this is what this forum is about, to share ideas and help out the brother. Or , you may forgive me, if you are really busy and hence the short reply.

Googled problem, there are several answers, most were from right here in this site from 2-4 years ago. Different ideas as to what and how to correct problem. Have not tried solutions as of yet. Most seem to direct solution to replacing drum/charge roller. Charge rollers develop "bumps" causing high voltage leakage, hence, toner bombs(spots) remember analogs having this problem when bias was to low, bad ground on dv mag roller, among other failures. Machine is just a project, having never worked on these series of color machines, obtained one just to see the ins and outs. Let you guys know how it goes down the road.

You're on the right track. Keep in mind that those arc marks on the drum will not be visible to the eye. The simple way to confirm is to swap with a different color drum. The spots will change colors. Don't choose yellow. It's really hard to see yellow spots. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
