Thanks for the quick reply. I sent your ELOG command to the printer.....Now just one question...Where is the print command located in the op panel....Can't seem to find it.
To make the Event Log available through the Front Panel Menu, set I1 to 1.!R! FRPO I1,1; EXIT;

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
which model you are referring to ?. You can also print the menu map and look for it there. another way i am thinking, is to use the lpr.jar utility. you can put this in a usb stick and run it from there. never tried it before, but it should work as the program said it works from usb stick. search the net for the utility.
Also, you have the create the command in notepad and not wordpad and use iclink or some other utility to send the command through the network port.

Sorry it's the p2135dn .
Yes ,I did use notepad and saved it as a txt file.
Perhaps I didn't make myself clear....I can output the Event log using ICLink, ether using a crossover or through the network.
What I am looking for is an simpler and faster way of printing out the Event log.
What do you require ?
You could write a batch file with the c2p.exe an send the commands from a DOS prompt.
You could down load ittb.exe off CTN and program a button with the same commands.

The part that I highlighted in my last post. These words right here highlighted >>>>>>>>: To make the Event Log available through the Front Panel Menu, set I1 to 1. !R! FRPO I1,1; EXIT;
If you'd like to read the same content in slightly different wording, here is my Excel record for the FS-2000 printer: To print Event Log: Set up print driver to print, via IC Link send this script: !R! FRPO I1,1; EXIT; The menu choice now appears in the service menu. Go to Other, right arrow, down arrow to Error Log, OK, OK.
As always, all PreScribe commands do not apply to all Kyocera models. This particular command first appeared around the time of the FS-2100 and that group of printers. =^..^=

I do get the above and you made it clear enough. the command is to enable event log and have it always available from the control panel menu permanently, unless a service system reset is done. I have not used this on the newer printers and mfp, but will try it on a machine at work and post.
Maybe it does not work on these newer printers. On the newer mfp's it is avaliable from service mode U000.

I copied this from another forum that i was viewing. this was posted in 2014. If this works, then this is will be ideal.
the most versatile and independend way to get an eventlog (and most other relevant stuff like status-pages) out of any current or recent Kyocera-Model is a command-file on USB-Stick.
Pro: - all current and recent models have front-USB-Port and can pront from USB - no need for external hardware like network, PC, laptop, parallel-port - no need for potentionally problematic stuff like ports or protocols in foreign networks
