    FS-2126 Color issues

Have a customer's 2126 in the shop initially for "grinding" noise and no cyan toner on prints. Initial thoughts was the cyan dev/drum drive gears broken - all gears check ok... eventually found the torque limiter in the exit section froze up as well as the lower paper guide in the exit melted... replaced and reassembled. Still no cyan and all color pages are completely covered in yellow, edge to edge no border on any side. So far, replaced yellow drum, yellow developer, HV board and color control board. Also replaced ribbon cable between two boards. Updated firmware and reset Gamma control with color chart. No joy.... any other suggestions?

No yellow drum charge on the charge roller. remove high voltage pwb and check continuity with your meter from the inside of the printer spring to the outside where it connect to the hv pwb. In fact check all the contacts and make sure you are getting continuity.

which board are you referring to as the control colour board. Is it the engine pwb on the left and side, opposite the hv board ?. If all fails, then that's the board i will replace. I have never had to replace a borad on these machines. usually is some connection or contact. The high voltage spring contact is usually the problem.

do a search in advance search for Kyocera MFP 2126+ - Toner Cartridge(black) not known anymore and see the following pdf . page 17
