    [Error Code] FS-1035, C4200 code FYI

    Greetings all,
    I haven't replaced a Kyocera laser unit in quite some time, but encountered a C4200 on an 18 month old FS-1035 last week. Manual says bad BD signal, so I ordered the laser unit (LK-170, aka 302LZ93030), and that did the trick. I contemplated ordering the Engine Board at the same time, but held off. I don't know if my issue was an isolated one, or if this may become prevalent in the future, so I wanted to share my experience.

      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
