Its from Transfer release motor. only happens on power up/down. It will start no problem, but its like the "stop" signal arrives a half second late and the motor spinning against dead stop creating the grind noise.
I was troubleshooting a noise around the fuser, touched the relay board to say the least(yc14 location)... And this happened. Initially i thought was the fuser/fuser drive components, but after afternoon of struggling i narrow it to Transfer Release Motor.
and I have absolutely no idea what i touched to mess it up..
any ideas?
I mean, i could change out this particular motor, that board, the "L" ribbon cable(which i seriously hope not), the big bundle of wire harness including the connector... I really wish the timing chart and theory of operation of most of these sub componet stuff is still in the manual...
any way to reset the timing?
/and apparently i scraped my pinky against the baremetal frame in the chaos not knowing, there was ceremony, there was sacrificial blood. But still nothing ...
