I know I have seen this before, but for some reason, cannot remember what I did to fix... Attached sample. Color calibration cycle leaving strips on the first copy out, 2nd page and on seem ok, until the next calibration or pwr cycle then issue returns.. have reloaded firmware and have tried a different transfer belt. This was started by another tech so not sure what all has been tried.2126.pdf

Re: FS-c2126 Quality Issue
You're seeing the color registration patches on the belt. It's a primary belt cleaning fault.
I know you say you swapped in a different transfer belt ... but it couldn't really be anything else. Perhaps the belt unit you installed isn't any better than the first. Usually you have some nice self adhesive labels stuck in the belt cleaner unit. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: FS-c2126 Quality Issue
Step 2, Checking the Auto Color Registration
Check whether the Auto Color Registration is executed normally following the procedures below.
If it is not executed normally, the Intermediate Transfer Belt may deteriorate over time. If the Transfer Belt is found to be
deteriorated, replace the Intermediate Transfer Unit.
Check of the Auto Color Registration
1. Turn the Main Switch ON and wait until the machine comes to ready.
2. Turn the Main Switch OFF, and open the rear cover.
3. Cheat the inter-lock switch at the rear left side of the machine by using a flat-blade screwdriver. (Fig.25)
4. Turn the Main Switch ON. (The machine drive starts.)
5. Determine whether the Auto Color Registration has been normally executed. (Fig.26, 27).
[Normal] The Color Registration patches appear at both sides of the Transfer Belt, one time, and then the machine
drive stops.
[Failure] The Color Registration patches appear at both sides of the Transfer Belt, one time, disappears and appears
a second time, and then the machine drive stops. Replace the Intermediate Transfer Unit if this occurs.
The above is from kyocera bulletin on quality issue. two screws and remove the transfer belt cleaning assy. remove cleaning blade and vacum the brush inside.
reinstall and check again.THE ONLY THING FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING..........edmund burkeComment

Re: FS-c2126 Quality Issue
Ok, never mind... I found the problem... the drive belt from the motor to the clean section drive was apparently pinched/not moving properly... freed up and working fine now... I knew as soon as I posted for help I would find something simple....Comment
