    KM 3035 control panel blue

    greetings all,
i dont deal with many kyoceras,i do mostly ricohs but have this account with a control panel that has
    a blue screen,enclosed pics.
i assume if it was the lcd backlight it would be black?
not sure the dynamics of this antique but i figured someone here has seen this before.

        ok
        i hope its that simple.
it is a law office so i can see the nonmechanical ability come into play.
i didnt think these older machines had that.
i see this machine maybe every 18 months.
        thnx

          Absolutely ... contrast knob.

I had a call just like this on a Toshy the other day. "Blue screen, can't do anything." I even went so far is foraging around in the bowels of the car for a HDD. You can imagine my relief when it was just contrast. "You mean like this?" and made it light ... dark ... light ... dark. Do'h!!! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We can safely assume it was the contrast knob [emoji16].
