HELLO ! i have a small problem here. THis prin
ting [fs3900dn] jam intermitten ,but according to my senior expierence pick up roller assembly very less caused problem, roller also never worn off and meter reading is about 100k.

I swop roller assembly with other machine but same model still jam intermitten.

1 Out of tray
2 Rego
3 Fuser
Is it at the same place each time?
Does it work from the MP

This may not be the cause, but can be worth checking on this type....
Additional to the rear stop in the paper tray, there is a lever at the back to to elongate the tray. This tends to move when hurridly loaded by the operator. A strip of rolled up paper is a quick fix to keep this lever in place.

Can you print out a jam list? It will tell you the error and you can look it in the service manual if you have one. It is usuaslly under the service menu. It might either have to do with the registration sensor or clutch. Try cleaning the registration roller first, the one under the silver roller with a damp cloth.

But does it work ok from the MP?

A recently common fault I found. It may not be your answer, but this model, unlike the FS-2000D has a tray lift mech. Behind a clip on cover (on the RHS of the tray) is a white gear (quadrant style). This pivots on a shaft that lifts the tray. Where it joins this shaft seems to be a popular fault for spliting. The results vary from misfeed to failed tray lift when loaded.

Check if the pivot post of engaging lever (white lever) in paper feed unit is not broken.
