    [Error Code] TaskAlfa 2551ci

    Hi All,

I have a taskalfa 2551ci that has error code C2560 Conveying motor 1 startup error.

so far I have replaced the engine pwb, CM1 (Motor) and checked the cable and still ng.
If I meter the cable I get all the correct readings for 24v, start sig etc and the cable passes a continuity test.

I have also tried main pwb.

I have a feeling that the error code is a red herring but cannot locate a cause.

    Any help appreciated.

    Regards

I think you'll need to check all the gears and rollers that are turned by that motor and find the one that is binding up and not letting the motor turn freely.

Thank you but as part of my test i removed the motor from the drive assy and held it in my hand while starting the machine and the motor did not try to turn,

        Hi,

I have stumbled on this issue today. Just for future reference I found it to be the transfer belt had been clogged up with toner. Causing the waste toner pipe to be clogged up also causing the transfer belt hard to rotate when in machine. You can vac out transfer belt. But I recommend just replacing the toner waste pipe. This should sort it.
