    Hi,
if you press the Scanner button what do you see on the display?
You can check if there is the option Scan Default in the System Menu.
Check the network cable. You can use the utp from printer to test the scanner.

      "active scan"?

Is that SMB, FTP, or scan-to-email? Those are your choices. What is this red flag?

Do you have two network cables attached? The Voyager series has a separate NS30 scan card, completely unrelated to the print card.
Maybe you're talking about SMB? Early versions of the NS30 firmware does not allow SMB scanning.
Maybe you're trying to scan to Gmail? The voyager does not allow for SSL or TLS. Port 25 scanning only.

We're going to need a little more information. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

thanks for your interset in the subjet.

        let me tell you ...
that we can't access to scan setup in the main menu (because the red flag on keyboard still exists).

        thanks again

Maybe you can take a photo of this red flag? I might check to see that the scan card is enabled in U512. =^..^=

sounds like the scanner is not getting a signal from the network cable

Maybe the network cable isn't even plugged in to the scanner outlet, as blackcat mentioned.
Maybe this machine needs a scanner file utility installed on the computer too.

Could be a dead hard drive. Can you use the document feeder at all?
