    Copystar feed rollers

Does anyone know if the CS7551ci color copier has the same feed rollers (drawers) as the B/W models? If so, would you know the part numbers for them? Does Copystar (Kyocera) have feed roller kit where all the feed rollers for one drawer are together with one part number for all three?

    Thanks in advance,

Funny that you should ask. I've been substituting Konica Minolta rollers with good success.
    Konica Minolta's A00J 5636 00, and A5C1 5622 00

They're rated for 300K and seem to be lasting.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Blackcat, are you swapping the KM rollers with the newer clip-style kyocera hubs? Specifically, 302N406030 and 302N406040. Not necessarily from a "is it possible" perspective, but rather "is it worth it?"

The new rollers, whether its material or feed head design, seem to be lasting a lot longer with fewer jam/misfeed problems than their predecessors. I can go 200k+ on a set while seeing as little as 0-4 misfeeds. If the cost is 50% or more, it seems like that would be the breaking point for deciding. On the contrary, the little amount of time it takes to swap hubs may be worth it if you can prevent a trip or two over the life of a machine.

      Thoughts?

You're doing better than me. I rarely do better than 100 to 125k. =^..^=
