KM-3050 CIS problem, won't scan back side.

I have a Kyocera KM-3050 with about 1.4 mil on it. I'm here for a jamming issue, needs a fuser but as I'm heading out the door, customer mentions they can't copy duplex. They are correct, if I go 1-2 works fine but 2-2 it scans the page, prints on both sides (paper goes through duplexer) but the back side of the print is blank. Tested a scan, sends two pages, page 1 looks great page 2 is blank. I reseated my connectors, verified that the lights work in service mode, firmware is up to date and I get NO ERROR codes. Any suggestions?

I really don't want to order a CIS unit, board and wiring harnesses. Any diagnostic suggestions to help narrow it down? My company got rid of the graveyard so I no longer have machines to pick parts off for testing either.

did you reseat the connectors on the adf main board and the 2 connectors from the adf to the machine?
I would check both. The connectors to the machine are known for the screws breaking, that hold the connectors together.
If all that's good, there is always the sim 906 reset to try.

Re-seated connectors and ran 906, no luck.

The symptoms for the loose CIS connector are:
"C0630" only when duplexing 2 to 2. DMA Problem (replace main board?).
        "Scanner Paused" message.

If it were me I would replace the pigtail first, then the CIS, then the engine PWB, in that order.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
