    [Electrical] FS 3920 DN Stuck in "Add Toner" Condition

    I have an FS 3920 with 71K prints that will not come out of an add toner condition. I have replaced the development unit, toner cartridge, engine, and main pwb's, with no success. Any ideas?

      Check the pins on the dev unit

          On the below right hand side of the machine is located the dev drive solenoid clutch and dev drive gear. A few times i have had to replace that gear. Not difficult to remove. You can check if the dev mag roller is turning by placing a mark on the edge of the mag roller.

              You can try going to service to developer and OK to start and press OK again to stop has worked before.
