If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Question, how does one get the latest firmware for the KM-5050? I've reached out to the dealer we purchased the unit from and i've also contacted Kyocera directly to no avail.
We're currently using 2GR_2000.033.001 and i'm looking for an SMTP setting that is not available. I'm looking for TLS for us to be able to use the scanner option with Office365.

Thanks for any help!
It's not going to be available on any firmware level. That option just was not available at the time.

There's a software solution out there called "Stunnel". Essentially it makes your scan to email into the proper format. I'm not sure how it works, but I have heard of successes. =^..^=

Older Kyocera's DO NOT support SSL or TLS
work around's will only create service calls for email failure's
unless office365 supports an smtp relay or NON SSL or NON TLS format
DON'T waste your time in a 3 party app.
