[Misc] Copiers (KM C2525e) prints no magenta

    Hello,

my KM C2525e prints no magenta.

I have the following components already renewed:

Toner, Drum-Unit (magenta), Developer-Unit (magenta), Transferkit

The machine has print 229.537 pages.

    What else can i do?

    Thanks for help.

    Guido

Realizing that OP has probably moved on and you have a similar case in which you have also ruled out magenta drum and developer....

I would check the contacts for the magenta transfer roller in the belt unit, the laser unit, and the developer and drum drive.

I've seen the developing drive coupler broken. I think it's unlikely though. You'd get toner density codes and/or Add Toner indications.

It most certainly could be laser.

It's fairly easy to dislodge the primary transfer contact. If you remove the primary transfer belt is pretty easy to see if the contact is out of place. It's still a pain to get it back into place (you need to remove the HVT).

I think the first thing that I would do though is emergency stop a page with ledger magenta coverage, then see if you are getting a developed image on the magenta drum, or a developed image on the primary transfer belt.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the input. I have not seen the machine myself yet (one of my techs has been dealing with this issue). I got a mhvpwb from a doner machine. I will update when fixed.

The only time I've seen a bad main HVT is when a screw ... ahem, .. when missing, during a main drive replacement. Shortly afterwards it became necessary to change the HVT ... and the screw was incidentally found. =^..^=
