I got myself into an issue with a 55ci. I took a job by a third party contractor and walked into a machine the previous company left in pieces. Got it back together and running then it asked for yellow toner they put it in and still kept wanting toner. I went out didn't find and thing plugged up none of that so I took out all the toners but yellow ran code 132 it ran for a minute but all the toners are now reading below 60. If I could get some theory on how it determines what is high and low I would be more than appositive. Its a mono component machine and the manual has nothing in it about how it works. Thanks Dan

Re: Taskalpha 500ci codes 7101,7102
Yellow dev is defective, replace and do all image adjustments and make sure firmware is up to date. Another area
to look at would be the unit that drives the developer section which is a long process especially if space is tight. -
Re: Taskalpha 500ci codes 7101,7102
C7101 points to black developer density.
C7102 points to cyan developer density.
The odds are, you've got dead developer in the black and cyan developing units. These units are sold as assemblies. No separate developer is available. The density value must be between 60 < X < 944.
My suggestion is that you order up and install a black and cyan developing unit, and do a color calibration. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If the motor is rotating or tries to rotate, check the following areas:
a.
Remove the Developing Unit and manually rotate the Dev Unit gear by hand.
b.
If the Gear is hard to turn, shake the unit back and forth and check if the gear is easier to turn. Repeat this a few times.
c.
If the gear turns, the unit is OK.
d.
If the gear is does not turn or is difficult to turn, replace the Developing Unit.
Note: If the new Developing Unit is not shaken back and forth to loosen developer, the C code can occur again.
