[Error Code] Kyocera mfp cs-4050 receiving transfer error 2202

Ok so we use the scanning function on our Kyocera CS-4050 to send scans to our emails. Originally, it was set to send to our work emails, but mine stopped working months ago so I changed to go to my Gmail account thinking it's something to do with the hosting site we use for emails(since our emails don't work right a lot), but today nothing is scanning to any of our emails at all. It just scans and then a few seconds later 2202 error pops up and then I get the error type:transfer print out. I didn't set up this scanner, an employee who no longer works for us set it up and I have no clue how to solve this problem. I've searched around to try to find an answer and I haven't found any good details on what to do specifically and how to do it. If someone could please give me a detailed explanation on how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. It's really time sensitive since we use this scanner for everything.

    Thank You!

2202 usually means that the attachment size is too large. To get the smallest attachment size and consequently the largest number of pages:

    1) Use monochrome scanning. A typical monochrome scan is 20K, and a color scan is 200K per page.
    2) Select a lower resolution. 300dpi or less is fine for text documents.
    3) Select Text original type. That cleans up some of the pixelization you can get at lower resolutions.

If you have to have a large number of pages, with color scanning, at high resolution, don't scan to email. Set up an SMTP folder and you can scan any file size, it will just take a little longer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

2202 is Time Out issue. If you can print to the machine (so network is OK), check the outgoing mail server setting. Address, email of the copier, ourgoing mail server (address, authentication method, user name and password).
Check for duplicated IP on the network also. (If another device has the same IP it'll slow down printing, sometimes unable it. Just like sending.) Shut down the copier and pind it's IP. If you get reply, there is another device with the same IP.

If you are using smtp, increase the time out setting to 60sec.

The e-mail size can also be set to "no limit", but the outgoing mail server might have a limitation (like gmail 25mb i think)
