    [Misc] No paper tray selection on main copy screen.No duplex from main glass

    Kyocera taskalfa 4501i.

    Missing paper tray selection box altogether ?
    No duplexing from main scan glass either ?
    Reset 024 , firmware downgraded/upgraded,reset 906. All to no avail...

    Anyone come across this issue ?

      is it still 6 box, or only 5?

          It sounds like you need to run a 906 but you already did that so I would make sure you executed that correctly. What happens if you unplug the accessories? Maybe backup everything to USB and try a U021.

              I would start by printing off the error log, so you can see what actual codes that you are dealing with. Then I would spend some time tracking down why the tray motors don't lift. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  All paper tray motors are fine and all trays feed .

                  All resets done no paper tray icon shown still .

                  Still no duplexing from main sub glass .

                  no event errors to refer to .

                              It is possible that the HDD is having problems as all the extended functions work with that.
