    curling copies when duplexing

this is a tough one, 3 TA 4500i with copy counts with about 1.5million curling copies letter size landscape orientation when duplexing.Fuser unit and right conveying cover was changed no joy. Lowering the fuser temp helped a bit but still occurring not as much though.Tried a fresh ream of paper no joy as well. Positioning paper portrait orientation no curling. any suggestions?

    Re: curling copies when duplexing

Are you using short edge grain or long edge grain paper? Short Edge Grain paper will curl more than the same sized Long Edge Grain paper, when fed LTR-R. For an explanation: Understanding Paper Grain Improves Document Quality

Moisture is always a factor in paper curl. How is the paper stored?

Reducing fuser temperature helps, but keep in mind that the temperature settings are specific to media type. So if you change the temperature settings for Plain Paper, then select Thick media type, you're not getting that temperature reduction.

Personally, I think I would buy a case of long edge grain paper and have my customer run it. That will have the greatest effect. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
