[Misc] Fax System (W) incoming faxes to fax box

Hello all,

Machine: TaskAlfa 6551ci, Fax System (W)

So, I'm trying to set the machine to save all incoming faxes to a fax box and not print them out. The Ops guide tells me I can not do that in the rule for all received faxes but, I can save faxes to a fax box using specific rules. However, it must be based on either fax sender number or sub address.

Well, this customer's senders will never be using sub addressing so that's out. This leaves sender number which has four options within the rule setting: 1. Same as; 2. Starts with; 3. Ends with; 4. Includes.

Since I want this for all faxes, options 1, 2 and 3 are right out. Option 4 seems viable however, I setup a rule based on the sender number including "1" but when I tested it, the machine still printed the fax instead of saving it in the box. I then tried four different rules each with a different number in it, all active at the same time but my test faxes still printed out.

Anyone have an idea on how to trick the machine into saving all faxes into a fax box despite Kyocera plainly not wanting that to happen?

Why not have them go to a folder or email address ? The purpose of the boxes is to keep the faxes secure, which the sender has to know specific info to keep it that way.
