[Misc] Triumph adler dc2230 supplies too much toner

My Triumph Adler (Kyocera mita) toner supply rate from the toner tank to the
developer unit is alarming. It so bad to the extent that the developer unit get
filled up completely thereby preventing the rollers to move after making about 50
pages of photocopy. I checked the initial toner setting by pressing 1087_1087,then 130
And I saw the value as toner sensor 0 and time 0.
Please what can I do to solve the problem and how do I go about it. Thanks

For those of you reading along this is a rebadged KM-3050. The developing unit has a level sensor, probably a piezo sensor. Here are the things that I would look at:

    1) I would clean the area around the toner sensor in the developing unit. The toner level sensor may have failed. If it's a piezo you should be able to hear it ring/oscillate when open/uncovered.
    2) I would examine the toner replenishment solenoid. It may be stuck in a position to add toner continuously.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

As blackcat said, check the toner feed solenoid. Service mode U33 checks the solenoid. remove the toner container and devise something to push in the push button switch at the rear inside of the toner container compartment. then cheat the two front door switches and run the simulation mode u33, you should hear it click on or off. or for that matter just cheat the toner container switch i mention and close the door and run the u33
You may want to unplug the exit guide assy, as it check those solenoid too and may give wrong conclusion. Just remove the cover that is above the left side door and unplug the exit assy and then run the test.
