I recently had a KM C2520 where the shaft on one of the drums ceased in the coupling on the drum motor. After fighting with it for hours at the customer, we decided to take it back to the workshop for repairs.
eventually this problem was sorted out. i had to replace the drum. something else that my customer complained about is that the machine spills toner and occasionally print lines on the copies as well as jams frequently. We stripped the machine down to the bone, cleaned and vacuumed everything (except the dev units of course) and put it back together. during the testing phase the first couple of copies were spotless, but after about 50 copies or so, the black toner started dropping onto the pages and magenta lines appeared.
I checked the transfer belt and it does have the pre cleaning brush, which according to my info is a mod that was done for copy quality.
Any ideas would be great, before this magically falls of its cabin and breaks to a state in which it would be uneconomical to repair.
