    Kyocera KM-4050 Event Log

Hi Folks, has anyone seen the following error code on a KM-4050 event log and if so what does it mean?
    M00-012

Can you add some context, like the rest of the error log? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If memory serves me correctly, M00 would refer to the number of maintenance kits installed. What is the life count on the machine? As Blackcat said without the rest of the log, enlightenment may be hard to determine.

The last error in the log was a C8230 almost 200K ago. The M00:012 appears to the right of the column of Error codes (only six) all by itself in line with the top error code.

Santander is correct in that it refers to the number of times the maintenance kit was replaced. It is not an error code but information.

Below is from the service manual pg. 44

          Indicates the log
          counter depending on
          the maintenance item
          for maintenance.
          T: Toner container
          00: Black
          M: Maintenance kit
          00: (fixed)
          Example:
          T00: 1
          The toner container has
          been replaced once.

Thanks very much gentlemen, I presume. The count is 944863 and the 500K kit is being replaced tomorrow so the message is of no consequence now. However. It obviously does not indicate that the maintenance kit has been replaced 12 times.

Just resetting the maintenance counter when no maintenance kit was installed will register as a replacement. Some techs, for whatever reason, will reset the maintenance counter whether or not they have installed a new maintenance kit. The 12 only indicates that the counter has been reset 12 times not that 12 kits have been installed. By the page count you provided it sounds like the previous tech had an issue with something and when they replaced a fuser or drum they just reset the entire maintenance count.
