    TASKalfa552ci C6040 won't clear

Hi, I have a TASKalfa552ci which came up with a C6040 error. The fuser unit was damaged so this has been replaced with a new one. I have reset the fuser problem data, cleared the fuser count and reset the disable function mode. Machine powers up gets to the normal operation screen and then comes up with C6040 again. Fuser is brand new - I can measure the resistance of the heaters and I can see this resistance on the cable that plugs into the PWB.

Have I missed anything? - is it the PWB?

Any help / advise would be gratefully received! Cheers, Eric.

edit: Oops. I don't read well in the morning.

In the case of already resetting it, I'm not sure. We don't have any of these in the field and haven't seen this on other models.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
