Have you tried changing the loop adjustment? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I haven' tried the loop adjustment, but I can't see how that would have changed, I'm the only Tech that has worked on this machine for 4 years, by the way this copier is 90 miles from our shop. I'm beginning to thank a previous post about 3050ci z fold jams with the same jam codes, large white gear worn on the shaft I believe he said drives the transfer belt. I usually don't mess with adjustments on a known copier that's been working for several years., but I will try the loop adjustment, I don't have anything to lose by trying it.

Hi..
Replace the clutches (reg relay)... they're poorly made and are prone to run on.... and If I remember correctly a bulletin was issued with a brake mod for the reg roller assy . This mod are 2 friction pads that presses on the shaft to provide extra drag in order to prevent run on (clutch not immediately disengaging). Also replace your flags.

Well, here's what the problem was, Kyocera calls it MPT assy. the manual calls it the paper conveying unit 2, part #302K994012. I would advise anyone with this problem to replace the whole unit given that it doesn't cost much! This is a real bear to replace given that the manual does not give any idea how to take this part out. I spent 3 trips & about 15 hours on this, so after installing the new one copier works fine, but I just had to take the old one apart 1st clutch was full of rust & shaft worn badly, 2nd the main problem two white rollers on the left hand side were popped out because the bracket holding the shaft in place was broken! I'm going to try Pulley unit.jpgConveying unit2.2.jpg!Conveying unit2.1.jpgComment
