I am paying it forward to save the next person hours trying to fix a recently relocated machine where the use of the Document Processor (automatic document feeder for us laymen) no longer produces a correct image.

Check that the scanner lock lever is in the unlock mode. Facing the front of the copy machine, it is located on the back left hand side, below the document processor.

Yes, I have seen this before too - what happens is using the document processor will output a blank copy, and using the glass will output normal. The scanner mirrors are unable to move to the correct position when using the document processor because the scanner lock is blocking it. Doesn't produce an error, just a blank copy.
