Kyocera 3500 fax problem

In the status page it shows fax setting, when you hit fax button on control panel, just beeps but no fax screen, is something turned off?

Check in the System Menu that someone didn't block the fax port. I've had it happen before when a customer was screwing around with stuff they shouldn't have been.

Went to customers office, shut machine off/on, fax working, go figure, been good all day now. Sometimes, I just don't ask why,

I've noticed some odd problems in places like hospitals where they are never power cycled. I think the cache never gets cleared causing it to act squirrely.
