Very strange problem Kyocera ecosys 2035dn

Ok here's the thing very very strange.

I was setting up a ecosys 2035dn with smb scan.

It said connection ok and then after 5 minutes wouldn't work anymore.

Checked everything possible.

It was pissing me off!!!!!

Did a firmware update and the machine said firmware error and totally locked up and never went to main screen again.

What's up with that???? Any Info would be great.

What error code were you getting ? That's always a good place to start.

it has also happened to me on two different Kyocera Models, exactly the same scenario but scan to email. In both cases i went over settings again and i fixed it but i don't know what fixed it ....

Perform the emergency f/w update outlined in these instructions.

Then let us know the scanning error you are getting.
