Kyocera TA 8000i fuser adjustment question

I have a question, I believe I already have an answer for, I just need conformation. Kyocera posted a bulletin concerning an adjustment jig for adjustment of the fuser for certain serial numbered MFD's, anything above NHE2400331 does not need the adjustment and the device I'm working on is ser # NLP1900198 and was manufactured in September of 2011. I thinking this one does not need the jig adjustment due to the serial #... am I correct in this assumption?

I'm not having any issues with the fuser, I'm just curious.

    That is correct.

When these machines first came out, the heat belts were tearing themselves apart quite early.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yeah, we saw quite a lot of those. The fuser jig helped some of them, but others were not helped. =^..^=

I appreciate the info. I am familiar with 00 series up to 5500 ( Alphard series) but haven't worked on any 8000 series up until this week. There are not really any issues with this MFD, toner inside, etc ( I believe most modifications have been made). How are the document feeders on these models? The document feeder has just under 1million on it...are there any clutches that have been problematic on it? I usually at 1 million on most document feeders start replacing clutches, paper detect switches and rollers as a PM.

So far they've been bulletproof. Many of this series are used as high volume printers, so the DP gets very little use. We recently placed one machine at a title company that is scanning twice the copy volume. So far all we've done is replace the pickup, feed belt, and separation roller. =^..^=

Great! I appreciate the information. I seen where there was an updated pick-up roller assembly, it doesn't appear to have this update, so I may order one just to be safe.
