Color Equipment = OEM only
Mono Equipment = Maybe to cover a back-order, but not a steady diet of that crap.

in other words, don't use it, it's all crap. It might look good when you put it in but 50k later you'll be looking for new developing units

The only 3rd party parts we use are waste toner containers.

That's a good strategy.

Of course the vendor will tell you it works well, what do you expect, my product is crap.

How many times have I had this conversation?

Aftermarket sales guy: "you know? we manufacture toner for Canon."

Me: "Do you manufacturer toner for Canon or for Canons, there's a difference"

Aftermarket sales guy: "Uhhh, no, we make toner for Canon"

Me: "You mean for Canon Japan or Canon USA, OR for use in Canon devices?"

Aftermarket sales guy: "Umm... I think we... Uhhh..."
