    DF 710 j87

I have a KM 5050 with a DF 710 that gets j87 jams ittermittently on stapling projects. As yet I have not been able to visually observe the jamming due to the infrequency of it. It happened once when I was there and I found a piece of paper bent like a taco near the moving plate at the middle tray holding area. I am ordering the solenoid that moves the plate but that is just a guess. Any tips on DF 710 jamming, especially j87?

I don't know if this is pertinent to your issue, but the DF710 has had a production change to prevent pinching of the harnass to one of the sensors. And yes, the jamming is intermittent.

The bulletin doesn't say anything about jamming, but I'm sure I heard that it has a re-designed wiring harness. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
