I was dispatched to a call on a FS-1128mfp for no power intermittently. I arrived at the customers location and ran prints, copies and scans with no issues. I cleaned up the mfp and turned it off and tried to turn it back on....a no dice. They had it plugged into a 6 outlet ($2) strip and thought, maybe, that was the issue. I plugged the mfp into another outlet turned it on and all was good ( turned it off and on several times to make sure). I told the customer chances are it was the cheap strip and left with the mfp working. It has been about a week and the customer called me with the same issue (no power) but they got it to work for now.
I know the FS-1135mfp has had known issues with the main board causing this issue. Is it the same issue (main board) for the FS-1128mfp, too? I checked for bulletins pertaining to the 1128 0n KDA Connect but did not see any.
