I have a customer with with FS3040 and the machine comes to life but the buttons and display are dead.
Any ideas?
has anyone worked on it recently? if not sounds like it could be the display controller bd or the display it's self. do you have a scrap machine that you can rob the parts off of for test? I would start with the display.

I've had a similar situation , and found loose connections to the display PWB .
