Kyocera m2040dn - Wrong ID with private printing

After deploying this printer, a few users have wrong ID when printing using "private printing". We tried many passwords, reinstalling, cleaning the server spool. Enabling the "prompt for access code" option does not work too.
Most users use Windows 10, I'll try to see the Windows updates installed on the problematic computers.

Do you have the RAM disk turned on? Without it private print will not work.

Now you are aware that machine authentication and private printing are separate unrelated features? Machine authentication only grants access to the machine, from the panel or the print driver. Private printing stores the print job in a box for retrieval with a password, not the same password unless you specifically set it up that way.

So if both of these features are enabled you'll need a username and password to send a print job to the Private Print box. Once at the machine you'll need to log onto the machine then a different separate password to retrieve that private print job.

It can get very confusing when you choose to layer on multiple levels of security. In some of these cases the endusers just give up using such devices. I becomes too hard, too confusing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes, it is on. Many users are using private printing, only a few of then are having the problem.

Yes, I do understand both features. We are using only private printing, and for most users it is working.

Many thanks ss12, worked like a charm! But by bypassing the print server our Papercut software does not log the prints. And our version does not support direct printing.

For now I configured print spooler back to all users, and the problematic ones are using direct printing without print logging on Papercut. Could you explain what "user box" means?

I was using PCL XL. Changed that to PCL 5e. I'm using RAW print processor, is that ok? I'll check later if the problem persists.

Finally solved the problem: Printer properties > Advanced
Activate "Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster"
                    Disable "Enable advanced printing features"
