[Misc] CS 306ci Is there a way to designate Paper tray for faxes... Copies from another tray

This customer wants the faxes to come out of one drawer (colored paper) and the copies etc to come from another. Is there any way to designate the faxes to do this or will I have to set the machine to default to colored paper and when they need plain white paper they need to select it...
THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP !!!

I don't believe that I've seen this model ... but I can share the traditional way of designating fax paper. Many of the new models allow you to select a Custom1 media type, then rename it anything you want, i.e. "fax paper". You can select whichever paper weight is suitable (probably Plain 63-75gsm). Then you go into the fax settings and select the media type that you would like your faxes to come out on, specifically "fax paper" (Custom1). You might also want to enable Auto Reduction/Enlargement so whatever paper size is received, it will come out on your designated paper, rather than giving the "Load 8 1/2" x 14" fax paper to the MP tray." message any time a different paper size is received.

When you run out of paper in that tray, the machine will tell you to load more "fax paper". Copies will not print onto this media since it has a unique media type. Also please leave the paper size selection set to "Auto Size Detection" for that tray, otherwise the fax receptions will not print out on that paper.

It's sort of counterintuitive ... but it works. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
