    KM-6030 strange scans/copys

    KM-6030.jpg

    Hey techs,
we have a KM6030 and out of nothing the machine started making this strange scans and copys.
Can anyone tell me what this is?
Seems to be something with the scanner.
I couldnt upload a PDF because it seems to be too big. (2.55mb)

It makes color copies? That's pretty amazing! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Obviously this is a scan.
Copys are just black, since its a b/w machine.

If it does it on both sides of a duplex original: it could be the SPWB (Scanner PWB), the MPWB (Main PWB), or the harness and connections in between.

If it does in only on single sided originals: it could be the CCD, SHD PWB (Shading PWB), SPWB (Scanner PWB), MPWB (Main PWB), or the harness and connections in between.

That will help you narrow it down a little. I think I would start by re-seating all those connectors CAREFULLY. There are quite a few ribbon cables. =^..^=

Perchance did you connect your network cable to the NS30 scan card, instead of the print card? This machine has TWO network connections, TWO network cables, and TWO IP addresses. =^..^=
