Got one at a customers site, if you print a black only page looks perfect, yet if you print a page that has color on it, on the right side of the print it has a kind of alternating rainbow coloration going down the right 1 inch of the paper. Ever seen that before? Any tips?

I think that you'll find that when you print out the images in the attached file, you'll see that one or more of the 15% fill images has voids crossfeed with a repeating pattern of 94mm. This is usually caused by ozone buildup on the primary charge rollers. Sometimes you can clean the charge rollers. If there is too much buildup or if the rollers are lumpy you'll have to replace some of the primary charge rollers.
Especially on composite blacks, gray halftones, those voids will express themselves as rainbow color patterns. =^..^=Attached FilesIf you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

OK, cool thanks for the info.
Yes, oddly if you print a full page black text, looks PERFECT, but if you print a page that has any color on it, you get that rainbow on the right.
I'm waiting for customer to OK an actual service call on it, I was working on another printer and they showed me that but they said wait to see if they wanted to fix it.
If they say yes, I'll check all that and get samples and such,
Thanks for the help, these are weird printers, never have I seen a printer where they hide the drums under a screwed down cover, strange!Comment
