    km-2050 can't use scanner

    Hi, I just installed a KM-2050 with optional fax and scanner.
    I cant set the ip address for the scanner, when I select scanner settings in the menu it says " cannot use scanner" press ok.
    please help - brand new installation.

      You must connect the scanner NIC to the network to be able to make any settings.

          You must connect the scanner NIC to the network to be able to make any settings.
          Correct, it needs network connectivity. Cross over cable with your laptop or else flylead into network.
