Hello ! i have a problem regarding km 4035 show ' tyre mark ' beside on drum refresh to solve temporary , after a few days tyre mark come back again. A new drum had been replaced the tyre mark come again in a few day, any solution will appreciated.THANKYOU IS FIRMWARE CAN HELP WHAT IS THE VERSION ?

Change the Main Charger and if you see little spots on the copies before you do that then change the whole drum assembly.

how old is the drum ?
describe the 'tyre marks' could be transfer roller?

There is a firmware upgrade that changes the transfer voltage and on timing. What happens is the tfr roller gets dirty and then starts arching to the drum damaging the drum. If you change the drum without the latest firmware the drum will get damaged again. See page one for sample and firmware level.

Is the "tyre" mark on the drum when you open the machine?

Could be the cleaning strip/dispersion plate above the drum.

we had some fairly dodge katun toner that got stuck on the drums and also caused light copies... are you using genuine toner?
