Have a school district that cant print using Firefox from any PC to any 01 and 02 series units. Anyone seen this or have any ideas??? Thanks in advance
Are they using a Kyocera KX print driver, printing to an IP address, static address on the MFP? Does it print from other applications? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Have you determined what they are trying to print with Firefox? Mozilla dropped support for Adobe flashplayer 6 or 8 months ago, so if the page they are trying to print contains info from flashplayer it will not print. The work around is to install a modified version of Firefox that Mozilla has put up on their website that essentially rolls back Firefox to a previous version, but remember to turnoff auto update in Firefox, otherwise it will be updated to the latest version and you have gained nothing. The roll-back version is difficult to find, I would suggest using the search function in the forums and look for Firefox Setup 52.0.1esr.exe. It worked for us. Also as others have said, make sure you are using the latest full version of the KX driver, the Universal KX driver does not handle web pages with embedded info very well.
