We have a Copystar CS205 Color machine and the color developer gets sucked out. I changed the Drums and Developers and they only last maybe 20K or less. The magenta developer is completely gone after 6k copies. I told the customer to make sure they change the toner when it needs it and not just reset it. It is supposed to last 200K. Any thoughts?

OEM toner? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Copystar CS205C color supplies don't last
check all waste toner passages for pluggage. also, look at the transfer belt waste exit to see if its plugged.
plugged waste exit of the transfer belt will cause leftover toner to be on the belt, which screws up the self-calibration. then it tends to use a lot of toner due to the nfg calibration values, and more frequent calibration cycles.
Is any junk waste falling on top of the yellow developer at machine front??Comment
