TASKalfa 3551ci white copies in Bypass unit

Hi,
we have a customer with a strange problem in a TASKalfa 3551ci, when select paper for the Bypass unit, the image is practically white,
but if you take a duplex copy for the Bypass unit, the image is correct, rest of functions are OK ! copies for rest of cassettes are OK !
It's crazy !!! we attach images, 1 copy 2 side for the Bypass and 1 single copy for the Bypass.
Firmware version : 2N4_2000.007.031

yes, the paper is new, Navigator A4 80gr extra, no humidity and is the same paper for 2 test copiers,

just a guess but check your buckle adjustment for the bypass compared to the cassettes and paper type for the bypass

Did you check the paper type setting (thick ,plain,transparency ect...) ?

Had a similar problem recently, except that single sided from any source was fine, 2 sided - second side looked like your sample
(very washed out). Ended up being the EEPROM on the engine board. New one programmed from Kyo solved the problem.
